Front flyleaf ownership signature. Handsome and quite tight later (11th through 25th thousand) U.S. edition of this popular life of Jesus Christ, entirely in German. Oehninger (1837-1914) was a popular and prolific German writer on religious topics and this title was first published in 1902, the date that this undated printing shows on his forward -- clearly an early 20th century printing.
