Brand New, Unread Copy in Perfect Condition. A+ Customer Service! Summary: Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) possessed one of the greatest minds the world has ever known. Painter, draftsman, inventor, theorist, and teacher, he is the quintessential Renaissance genius whose contributions have laid the foundation of our civilization's understanding and definition of fine art, literature, science, and technology. During his life, Leonardo kept notebooks filled with ruminations on painting, architecture, botany, anatomy, physical science, aerodynamics, geography, and much more. Leonardo's Notebooks collects the most fascinating of these studies and compiles them into one monumental volume that demystifies Leonardo's insights and illuminates them with more than a thousand original sketches and drawings. Much of Leonardo's own cryptic handwriting has been deciphered and translated so as to connect the reader even more deeply to the work and the mind of its creator. Buchnummer des Verkäufers
