Hand painted and stamped envelope containing a letter to Peter van Beveren, signed by Elsasser. Envelope 105x220mm, letter (unfolded) 211x260mm. The letter, on lightweight beige stock, includes two and a half sides of handwritten text in German in black and one side of typewritten text in English. The German text appears to be written by someone else, and is dated 1966. In addition there is a tipped in photographic collage with red pen drawings, three red rubber stamps of a camel and a drawing in blue ink. The letter invites van Beveren to be included in a postcard project Elsasser is working on, which already involved Albrecht D, Peter Below, Frak Higby and Angelilka Schmidt. The envelope recto is hand painted in blue and yellow and addressed to Peter van Beveren with a franked German postage stamp, the verso features red rubber stamped crocodile. Condition: wear to envelope from posting, lossof paper to closing fold, letter foldled twice as sent, small ding top right corner, otherwise fine. Very Good+. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 68769197
