Tre volumi in 4° (20 x 14,7). Cc. (8)+230; (6)+203+1 c.b.; (8)+284. Marche tipografiche ai frontespizi, capilettera xilografici ornati. Legatura del 1° vol. un poco scucita, qualche fioritura e debole brunitura, sporadiche gore a pochi fogli ma bell'insieme in legature coeve tutta pergamena floscia, una leggermente più chiara delle altre, titoli manoscritti ai dorsi, una mancanza non importante al piatto post. del 3° vol. Pregevole e corposa raccolta di lettere ordinata dal poligrafo viterbese. Si tratta di un insieme composto in epoca cinque-seicentesca, come testimoniano le indicazioni manoscritte di collocazione di biblioteca apposte ai risguardi. Le edizioni però sono miste, il 1° volume è in seconda edizione, il 2° e il 3° in quarta edizione; quasi sempre nelle raccolte pubbliche e nel mercato antiquariale i tre volumi non fanno parte della medesima edizione, e sono composti variamente. First volume in the second edition, second and third volumes are fourth edition, similar sets are usually found in NUC in various printing years. Three volumes, 4°. Printer's mark on title-pages. Historiated initials. Unobtrusive foxing and waterstains to a few leaves but a nice set in contemporary full vellum bindings (one very slightly different to the others). Manuscript title on spines.
