Seabiscuit was that sporting icon. The story of Seabiscuit as told so eloquently by Laura Hillenbrand has dominated the book scene for two years. Seabiscuit, Charles and Marcela Howard, Tom Smith, Red Pollard, and George Woolf haveonce again become a part of our national conscience. Now comes another gift. In 1975, Barbara Howard received from her great aunt, Marcela Howard, a box of letters written to Seabiscuit and his owner Charles Howard.
