A 1927 reprint of the 1906 issuance. An Everyman's Library edition of Daniel Defoe's adventure novel, which first appeared in 1720, shortly after his "Robinson Crusoe." Entry 74 in Everyman's Library "Fiction" series, edited by Ernest Rhys. --- In "Shield Era" curved back binding style 2, dark red ribbed cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped Reginald Knowles-designed spine titling & decorations, blindstamped J. M. Dent vignette to front cover, and with black topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title page, frontis and endpapers. Volume lacks the dust jacket. --- An excellent copy: clean & tightly-bound, though with prior owner's inked name & penciling to front free endpaper, otherwise lacking apparent damages.; 16mo - 6 to 7 in. tall; xii, 244 pages.
