Going behind the scenes of "This is Your Life" to the secret planning office, where every "life" is given a code name, the programme is charted through the background research, worldwide travel, emotion, exhilaration, and sometimes great disappointment, to the moment when the surprise is sprung. Included in this volume are the stories behind the "Lives" of Zsa Zsa Gabor, Dudley Moore, Phil Collins, Kiri Te Kanawa, Frank Bruno, and Graham Gooch, and politicians, writers, actors and personalities.
