First booklet is an artists book, initially conceived by Kelly in 1951 as a series of drawings and collages and brought to completion in this publication. The second booklet, 23 pp, is an essay by Harry Cooper entitled An Intense Detachment: Ellsworth Kelly s Line Form Colour . Printed black and white and illustrated throughout in colour. The book was published to accompany an exhibition of Ellsworth Kelly s early drawings. Condition: minor wear to card box/dust jacket, booklets as new. NF.
