Retirage de ce beau panorama de Lisbonne depuis l'embouchure du Tage, où l'on voit au premier plan de nombreux bateaux, et en arrière-plan les principaux édifices de la ville, avec en pied la légende gravée mentionnant 28 bâtiments parmi lesquels le Palais royal (détruit en 1755 lors d'un tremblement de terre), le palais ducal, celui de Corte Reale, la douane et les Halles, ainsi que les églises Saint-Jean de Dieu, Sainte-Catherine, Saint-François, Notre-Dame du Mont, etc.La gravure est numérotée « N° 56 » dans la plaque.Antoine Aveline (1691-1743), fils du graveur et marchand de gravures Pierre Aveline (dit « Aveline-le-Vieux »), et très probablement son élève, fut lui-même dessinateur et graveur à l'eau-forte et au burin.
