Stuart, Lee and Shepard, Boston, 1869, two engraved portraits of Ann and Emily, 371 pp, full original cloth, 8 x 5.5 , 8vo. In good condition. Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing to corners and end bands. Minor fraying of end bands. Gilt finishing on spine bright and clean. Modern ownership of V. Rabe dated 5/74 on front pastedown in pencil. Old hand ownership on second fly. Interior lightly toned with scattered foxing, heavy at times. Rear gutter tender with binding mesh exposed. A small patch of dampness staining to the rear text at the top edge. Binding intact. Please see photos. Description of Burmah, boundaries, rivers, climate, soil, fruit, flowers, the people, dress, food, government, religion, work in Rangoon.
