WRIGHT, F.A. Logomachy, or War of the Words. Cincinnati, F.A. Wright, 1874. 56 cards, measuring 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. On each is a letter of the alphabet in large type, and a picture of a songbird. A word-building game, which won the Highest Premium for the Best New Parlor Game at the Cincinnati Industrial Exposition of 1874. A clean, complete set, with the printed instruction sheet, and housed in its own cardboard box with a color-lithographed pictorial lid. The lower part of the box is repaired with thread, and one side of the lid is detached. Rare in the original box and with the instructions. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 72510
