No clips to jacket, but a mild sunning on the rear panel. This is Boswell's earliest journal, written when he was only 22. It is his own story of coming to London and becoming independent of his father. The Johnson connection would follow on, and secure his reputation as one of the greatest biographers to have chosen that calling.
