Folio (33 cm.), 2-vols-in-1 as issued. Volume I, Plan, title page, 2 page index, 316 pp., number 1 dated Wednesday April 2, 1834 to number 40, dated Wednesday, December 31, 1834. Volume II, 168 pp., number 41, dated Wednesday January 7, 1835 to number 61, dated Wednesday May 27, 1835. Supplements for part 1, lxxii pp., and Monthly Supplement dated June 30, 1835, pages 201-208 and the July 31, 1835 Supplement entitled "The Printing Machine," pages 241-248. Six Tower of London plates. As usual the weekly parts of numbers 62 (June 6, 1835) to number 91 (Dec. 26, 1835) are not included. Following the publication of the monthly supplement dated Dec. 31, 1835, The London Journal ceased all operations. The text and plates are very good plus with little of the usual foxing.
