Illustrated with photos of soldiers killed on the battlefields and containing many lists of casualties together with lists of promotions, etc. A particularly sad part is the requests from families for news of missing soldiers. Very good in blue cloth binding with gilt decorations showing minor wear and 4 bleach(?) stains to boards. T.E.G. Loosely inserted is a modern letter from Ken Cooper the author of "The Cardiff Pals".
