Six volume set. Vol 1 - [xii], 344 pages + 11 of the 14 plates. Vol 2 - [iv], 352 pages + map and 19 plates. Vol 3 - [iv], 328 pages + 14 plates. Vol 4 - [iv], 355, [1] pages + 5 plates and 1 map. Vol 5 - [iv], 348 pages + 9 plates. Vol 6 - [iv], 376 pages + 17 plates. Both maps are present but there are 3 plates missing from volume 1, all other plates listed are present. Vol 1 has been rebound in a matching modern full leather - the pages in this volume are soiled and spotted, particularly at the start and finish. Some plates in vol 2 have offsetting of text to them. Vol 6 has some thin worm trails to pages 113-6 including one plate. In old full leather bindings [ apart from vol 1 ] but spines are worn and lettering labels are split, repaired or in several cases - missing.
