Tight and bright hardcover in orange cloth covered boards with bumped and rubbed tips and spine ends. Exlib with pocket pulled but all pages present. Paper pulls on endpps and pastedowns from removed library tags and formerly glued down frt flap. 282 pp text browned but not brittle, top edge of page block dyed blue. Noticeable handling soil in some page margins. Unclipped (and unpriced), color illustrated dust wrapper has wear and color loss at extremities and on both panels so much so that a few of the stories listed on the rear dj flap aren't legible. Jacket now in new mylar and displays OK on the shelf. Solid working copy, all there but not pretty. When young Tommy Rogers learned that his father had been cheated out of a fortune by a man who bribed a couple of perjurers to testify against him, he set out to get even - by robbery. It was a mistake, because in less time than it takes to say it he found himself in trouble up to his neck.
