This 1970 edition is the fourteenth overall, and first edition with the second author preface added. Book is fine in pristine condition. Original DJ is about fine with a clipped flap, and only minimal evidence of any handling whatsoever. A spectacular copy of the landmark title that postulates people lose themselves in crowds, or suburbia, in order to conform and meet with crowd approval, rather than seek out their own pleasures, which in turn creates an unfulfilled journey and a less than happy existence.
