Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Donald O. Case holds a PhD in Communications Research from Stanford University. He has been a Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Communication and Information Studies since 1994, and between 1983 and 1994 was a faculty member at the University of California, Los Angeles, teaching in the graduate Information Studies program and in the undergraduate Communication Studies program.Professor Case teaches courses in information seeking, research methodology and the social implications of information technologies. He conducts research on communication technologies and information-seeking. Case's articles have appeared in Journal of the American Society for Information Science, Library and Information Science Research, New Media and Society, Telecommunications Policy, The Information Society, and the Journal of Communication, among other publications.
