"Every church will face the task of seeking the direction of God in light of the needs of the congregation. Christian leaders deal with their calling in light of God’s Kingdom all the time, but how does the local church go about this momentous task? Yes they want God’s absolute direction, but how does that reduce to finding the person that will be leading the local church for possibly decades. The following pages are a great guide. The authors speak candidly about the necessities of the God side of the picture… such as focused prayer. However, there is great care given to the individual characteristics of the local expression of God’s kingdom and how a group of God-called people can find God’s special person for their shepherd. Churches would do well to read these pages and incorporate their wisdom before starting on their very important journey.” Gerald Wessels, Peach Tree City, GA

“This is a solid book from two solid pastors.” Joel Engle, Anchorage, AK

"So You're Looking for a Pastor" is a much-needed book! It is encouragement, instruction, and inspiration in one package. And it is extremely well written. I only wish I had this book years ago as a staff member trying to help Pastor Search Committees walk through the often difficult maze of calling a Pastor to lead the church. There is so much practical advice to help churches make the best staff choice for ministry effectiveness. Page and Chad have been through the process of calling a pastor several times over their many years in the ministry. Therefore, the principles you will discover in the pages of this book have been used, tested and proven to be effective.” Dean DeMarra, Defuniak Springs, FL
