Gordon L. Patzer, Ph.D. (Chicago, IL) has held various executive positions in and out of the academic world. He is currently Dean of Chicago’s Roosevelt University, and serves as the Director and Founder of the Appearance Phenomenon Institute. Dr. Patzer has investigated “lookism” and the physical attractiveness phenomenon for more than 30 years and has been featured in such publications asThe Los Angeles Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Mademoiselle, Elle , andSelf Magazine.
