Dana Williams had an inspiration in meditation. She saw how the sacred Christian prayer and the seven chakras of the energetic system are a match, sharing symbolic language, corresponding to parts of the body, and guide the practitioner toward integration, maturity and wisdom. Williams guides the reader through a straight-forward and transformative practice that connects the Lord's Prayer to the chakras. The practitioner feels as though put right, aligned, with more energy and understanding for their life's journey. Although this practice takes only minutes to do, the effect can be immensely restorative and life-changing, at any time of life.

Williams received this inspiration when she was young and it became the mainstay of her spiritual practice over many decades, and to the present day.

Williams writes, "Each phrase of the prayer fits into a chakra like a key into a lock. By reciting each phrase within its chakra, and charging and recharging the chakra with its energy, we are reminded of who we really are, our soul-spirit reveals itself, and we sense more clearly our commitment here on earth.”
