Ever since Emmaline O'Byrne returned from the long leap back to the Lost Colony of Roanoke, her days have been filled with learning new skills in the Library of Hereafter and mastering her duties as the next Paladin Knight du Voyageur. But just as she and her friends are settling back into their lives, the magic typewriters begin to clatter, signaling that, once again, time is changing. While rushing back to the Library, they see something their eyes cannot believe. The Third Reich has taken control of their town, and they seem to be the only ones who realize this is a disaster. For Emmaline, the stakes are higher than ever: her family and friends are in danger of being lost forever to this new reality, and the world she fought so hard to return to might vanish if she cannot set things right. ¿Now Emmaline and her great uncle Alastair, along with her old friends and a few new allies, must discover what is at the heart of this terrible turn of events. Why is a ghost ship no longer a ghost ship? Why does the president who would have led them to success in WWII not survive to lead them to success? Who is behind the timeline changes, and what does he really want? Their quest for the truth will lead them to Barbados in 1921, where they will board the cursed ship and take the long trek up the coast towards an old enemy and his powerful new ally. Can Emmaline uncover the truth before she and her companions are lost on that doomed ship and time is forever changed?"

Kirkus Reviews called in, "A rousing adventure with a touch of fantasy and mystery and a lot of heart." G.L.T.Lyons also publishes women's fiction and mystery under Gina Lea. Kirkus Review called her first book, Defining Destiny, "An ideal, frothy beach book." Gina draws on her own experience living in a small town and working in the coffee industry for her stories. She lives just off the coast of North Carolina with her best critics, her husband, and Zuzu the Wonderpug.
