First edition, very early issue with cover printed in brown (rather than black) ink with no blue overprinting, text printed sideways, publisher specified on verso of rear endpaper but partial with no address (first issue apparently has no publisher listed there). [10] pp. printed on rectos only. Illustrated wraps with pale green endpapers. Basically Fine with tiny corner crease to one page, hint of shelf wear. An attractive copy of an uncommon banned book.
