Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: My name is Marvin “Portee” Travis. Even though this book is basically about “me” and some of the things my body, soul and spirit experienced, it is a great possibility it could also be about parts of you and those whose paths you may have crossed. I was born and reared in Louisville, Kentucky, as you have already read. My mother, father (1915-1982), brother, children, ex-wife and extended family of friends played and continue to play an important role in my journey called life. I’m not much different than most people. I was simply given information by a power greater than myself. The information’s intent was to inspire those who received it and entice them to make a conscious choice to simply do the right thing. As I have made a conscious and sometimes tediously enjoyable decision to share what I received, my prayer is that my obedience to “Love” is not shaded by perverseness.
