How rich and rewarding is the practice of using fine poetry and literature in helping youngsters to understand their own language and culture?! And how helpful to a youngster's development of a strong sense of self to use recitation and practice in memorization, clear diction, and speech to help reinforce the feeling of confidence and competence is expressing oneself! Extraordinarily so on both counts!
Roberto Trostli offers here a deep treasure trove of collected literature and deep, detailed explanations of how to use good literature, fun tongue twisters, and moving passages from literature to imbue a young person with a sense of self, unassailable by the ups and downs of any journey of growing up. For all elementary school teachers, especially Waldorf teachers, and for parents, too, this is a first of its kind - good advice and rewarding collections of useful verses and speech strengthening excersises. It's a fun guide with many helpful approachess explained for class teaching, and a beautiful collection, too!
