This is an adventure story about a little girl, who had to go to the museum when she would rather have been playing in the snow. As she sat miserably on a bench she was visited by a winged creature who swept her off her feet and flew her into a wonder world where she rolled in the snow and splashed in the sea, growled at a tiger and fed crisps to a king's horse. The author has also written "Mrs Weber's Diary", "True Love", "Pick of Posy", "Very Posy" and "Fred".

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Posy Simmonds is the author of many books for adults and children, including Gemma Bovery, Lulu and the Flying Babies and Fred, the film of which was nominated for an Oscar. She has contributed a series of weekly cartoon strips to the Guardian since 1977, and has won international awards for her work, inlcuding the Grand Prix 2009 de la Critique Bande Dessiné for Tamara Drewe. She lives in London.
