There are a few spots but overall the text is clean without mar, tear or soil. The cover is corner creased and taped, there is damage, presumably from sticker removal. The former owner name inside front and back covers. The cover has a single sepia photo of the front of the church building, there is no address or any further information. The pages are all type face in sepia and pages are a tan color. What is clear is that many of the contributors were of European heritage. Recipes such as Cabbage Rolls (Hungarian), Finnish Finger Cookies and Fatighan Bakelser, are sprinkled liberally among Noodle Hot Dish, Chicken and Dumplings and Grape Pie. There is no table of contents, index or even section dividers - just one wonderful page after another. There are recipes for breads, main dishes, sea food, side dishes but the lion's share are for desserts. Tucked in after desserts are a few salads and two dressing recipes contributed by the iconic Brown Derby restaurant chain, $200,000 Salad Dressing and Honey Dressing. I found an unusual Butterscotch Bread recipe, it's a quick bread developing the butterscotch using butter, brown sugar and buttermilk, more current chefs use butterscotch candies, yeast and other modern additions.
