The title page and publisher information with a precise date are missing. This book starts with page 5; a warning to parishoners to only purchase Hymnbooks authorised by a Bishop of the Church. The following six pastors some Bishops endorse this particular volume of over 600 pages. Their names are: REV. Robert R. Roberts, Joshua Soule, Elijah Hedding, James O. Andrew, Beverly Waugh, and Thomas A. Morris. These men lived and preached in the 1830's, 1840's and 1850's therfore Iam dating this as circa 1840.
