Fujio Akatsuka (1935-2008), along with Osamu Tezuka and Fujio Fujikoto, is a nationally known Japanese manga artist. It was the first magazine edited by Fujio, who was very popular at the time for his hit "Tensai Bakabon," but the magazine was discontinued after six issues due to its extremely nonsensical content, which caused a large loss in each issue. This first issue featured a cover visual by Tadanori Yoko and manga works by Go Nagai, Yasuji Tanioka, Toshio Saeki, Reiji Matsumoto, Kazuo Umezu, and others.
