Illustrated. 618 pp. 9.25 x 6 inches. Cloth bindings show general wear and soiling. Pages are unmarked, but show some handling, edgewear, and minor soiling. Lessons are presented with anatomical illustrations (both b/w and two-tone) and photographs of notable opera singers and orators. Eugene Feuchtinger (1862-1930) was a German-born voice coach, who immigrated to the United States in 1882 and in 1916 established a voice correspondence course called the Perfect Voice Institute. The course was immediately successful and Feuchtinger could claim students in several major European opera companies.
