Bright, colorful pocket map of North Carolina in stiff buff wrappers. Excellent condition. Full color by county. The western tip of the state is shown as an inset at the bottom left. Index of place names and railroads in the state on verso. This map was printed as a promotional piece for N. D. Wells, an Optometrist-Watchmaker-Jeweler-Engraver in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The back cover also is an ad for Wells, including the note "All the New Hits in Sheet Music at Popular Prices." Black Mountain is a small town east of Asheville.
