Double page engraved map. Original colour.53x45 cms.Latin text at the back.Slight browning along central fold. A good copy of this important map based of Norwood´s survey map(published by John Speed 1627).Sir George Sommers and his crew wrecked off at Bermuda in 1609 and established there, taking control of the island and dividing into tribes and lots(later parishes) The map gives the names of the first proprietors and shares assigned to each one.
