This is the second collection of weekly columns written by Jim O’Brien for the Farming Independent, a supplement with the Irish Independent. Jim lives in Co Clare and has been working as a journalist since 2002, specialising in farming property and rural affairs.
His columns cover a broad range of topics informed by the things that go to make up his life and the lives of those around him. He writes about everything, from the arrival of a new pup to the impact of climate change while occasionally wandering down memory lane to resurrect stories from a rich and varied life.
