H-B was happier with Collins' second Canadian edition of 'Measure of the Year' than he was with their first Canadian edition "They [Collins Canada] were disgracefully slow in getting 'Measure' on the market and their edition up here is a pretty disgraceful job." R. H-B referencing the Collins first Canadian edition [pub. 1950] in 'Deep Currents'. Red paper over boards, title printed in black onto spine, 8vo (8-5/16 inches tall), pp. [i]-260. Volume with a few small stains to text block edges, ffep with pencil erasure at top and a small stain to bottom corner which also modestly affects the foot of the next few leaves.
