Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: William A. Florac is a Visiting Scientist at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), Carnegie Mellon University, and a member of the Software Engineering Measurement and Analysis Team. Previously he spent 30 years developing and managing hardware and software products for IBM. He was chairman of IBM's Corporate Programming Measurements Committee, which was responsible for the development of company-wide use of software measurements for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Anita D. Carleton helped to launch the software measurement initiative at the SEI in 1988, and served as the manager of the Software Process Measurement Project until 1995. She currently provides technical leadership to the Software Engineering Measurement and Analysis Team. Before joining the SEI she worked for GTE Government Systems, where she initiated a quality measurement program.
