Style G5 binding, with gray boards and gold Kent torchbearer in a black oval on the front board and spine, and gold lettering in a black box on the spine; top page edges tinted gray (here with some spots); the short-lived (1947-1950) illustrated endpapers; style Gd of dust jacket back features three torchbearer bullets. The book is square and unmarked; wear to tips of corners; spine ends bumped with some wear.
