Über den Autor: Italian-Brazilian trumpeter, valve trombone player, singer, composer and arranger of Afro-Cuban-Brazilian rhythms, R&B, Pop, Jazz, movie soundtracks, jingles, industrial shows. Author of two instructional Method Books with CDs published and distributed world wide by Mel Bay Publications Inc. titled: "Latin American Trumpet Music" and "The Salsa Trumpet". One of Gabriel's album ("Brazilatafro Project" vol.2) plus cover story, has been released by Dorn Publications with the June/July '99 issue of "Jazz Player" magazine. Also, Curci Ed. released a transciption-reduction volume for voice & piano from Astor Piazzola Tangos "Milva sings Piazzola" and a "Per chi suona la Tromba" book. Rosati's personal recordings are: "Mediterranean"(1991) "Pacific Time"(1992), "San Francisco Sessions" (1993), "Brazilatafro Project"vol.1,2, 3 (1995, 97, 2002). plus the latest "El Nuevo Clàsico" (20th Century classical music for trumpet and piano.2002) The "BRAZILATAFRO PROJECT" (BRAZIlian + LATin + AFRO) is Gabriel's trade mark band since 1995 inspired by the Caribbean, Central and South American sounds which are also his own original heart music. During 2001, Gabriel performed in Miami with Latin Award Nominee Frankie Marcos & "Grupo Clouds" and recorded for Venezuelan Salsa band "Hot'd Son". From 1990 to 1997 living in the United States, this musician played and collaborated in various formations and styles including: Santana, Billy Preston, Malo, Oreste Vilatos, John Handy, Deacon Jones & John Lee Hooker, Perez Prado All Star, The Checkmates, Os Originais do Samba, San Francisco All Star Big Band, John Coppola Jazz Orchestra, Al Molina, also partecipating at the "Brazil World Tour" with the National soccer team. Also, with Jazz players Carl Fontana, Don Menza and John Handy and Bluesman Willy King (B.B.King). Gabriel performed for three years at the major Las Vegas Spotlights: Caesar Palace, Bally's, New York New York, Flamingo Hilton, Stardust, Luxor, Four Queens, with shows and acts. He toured Central America, North of Europe and twice Japan (opening act for three months at The Osaka Ritz Carlton Hotel with his own jazz formation). Also, he appears on a Video with singer Gerardo titled "Darroumba" for Capitol Records, previously in Italy on Video Music Network was togeher with singer Vinicio Capossela and for a six months contracted at the Italian National TV Night Live Show B
