3 volumes. Volumes 2 & 3 are first edition copies, volume 1 a second edition. Full blue cloth with silver lettering to the spine, in dust jackets. Jackets are edgeworn and darkened with a few markings. All volumes are a little torn at the spine and edges, and the front cover of volume 3 'The Reckoning' bears two tears that are both around 3.5 cm long. Internally clean. The autobiographical memoir of former British Prime Minister Anthony Eden, covering his career in the years leading up to the Second World War through to his time as Prime Minister between 1955-1957.
