This map is very nice in its decorative composition. The attractive design and use of type makes it easy to use, It is both English and iSpanish. It has a bit of Covarrubias style reminiscent of pre WWII publications. There is a highway map. It has classifications as follows; Paved road, All weather Road and Dry Weather Road. This would indicate an earlier map where the connections between capitals have less than paved connection. The railway map is simple and straight forward . It show the railroad between San Pedro and Sanchez under construction. There are extensive connections to towns in the U.S.The airways map shows only one external connection to the U. S. It shows the first stop in the U.S. is San Antonio. This would indicate a limited range of aircraft and limited connections. This would be indicative of a map from the 1920s. The inset map of Mexico City and vicinity is found on two panels in the upper right of the highway map a couple of dry weather roads.
