Soundly bound in the original pictorial dust jacket with publisher's $2.00 issue price intact to the unclipped front flap. 2nd printing issued in the same January month as the first issue and almost certainly prior to the book club editions which are often marketed as 2nd issue of the 1st edition. This copy lightly shelf cocked in the spine; blue top stain much faded. Cloth at spine a little toned, more so to a small inch square patch base of spine where a chip missing from the jacket left the cloth directly exposed. Prior owner name penned to front endpage. Jacket is toned at spine and less so to the cover panels. Mild drip/damp spot outlines to jacket spine panel and afew superficial instances of silverfish scaling to the front and rear jacket panels. The jacket's $2.00 issue price has been partially lined out; second printing stated on the bottom corner of the jacket and on the copyright page. VG-/G++. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 53804
