Pages are notably thumb-marked with moderate tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a pencil inscription to paste-down. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Gutters are crinkled, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
