William Wilkie Collins, (1824-1889) was an English author who also wrote "Woman In White". * Inserted at the front of this Volume is a copy of the Sandglass, # II:25, a four page folded pamphlet from the Heritage Press. * The book contains an introduction, two prefaces, the table of contents which is divided into three different time periods. * There are 40 line and wash drawings which include portraits of the seven tellers of the tale, 32 of them were colored by Andre Dignimont. * The blue linen binding also has a subtle border pressed into the binding on the front. * CONDITION: The book is in good condition with the spine being faded and moderate wear on the red label.
