Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Lisa Copen is the founder and director of Rest Ministries, a Christian organization that serves millions of people who live with chronic illness. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1993, and later fibromyalgia, she has found God’s purpose in reaching out to others who live with daily pain.

Lisa has authored various books for people who live with chronic illness, including "A Woman’s Health Resource Journal." Her work has been published in magazines and she shares her story in "God Allows U-Turns: A Woman’s Journey" and "One True Vow." She is a member of the advisory board of the Christian Council on Persons with Disabilities.
