Writing under the pen name Augustus Craven, Pauline Craven is best known for Le Récit d'une S ur in which she intimately describes her family life. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half title, 'May EA Osborn'. In a quarter calf binding over patterned boards. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards and the spine. A little rubbed to the head and tail of the spine, with some scuffs in the calf to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
