It is a format #3, based on the Mattson/Davis bibliography. This book is square, moderately clean, free of edge dings with the lower rear corner lightly bumped; head and heel of the spine are bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edges have very little wear. The spine is reasonably clean and not faded. However, there are several small stains on the spine and a stain on much of the fore edges of the front and rear panels (see photos)--these stains do not penetrate the book at--even the end pages are not affected. The interior, with it plain end pages, is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way.
