First (and only) Edition. A Softback Publication Issued Without a D/W. Rare early book of motoring cartoons. Original pictorial stapled wrappers. A quarto book of motoring-related cartoons (44 pages) by W. Heath Robinson, with brown-paper-coloured card covers, "Price 2/6". Also contains 14 pages (+3 covers) of contemporary motoring adverts, including many beautiful ads for actual cars (Packard, Bean, Humber, Metallurgique, Noma, Paige, Peugeot, Hupmobile, Adler, Essex, Hudson). A well preserved example, with a couple of nicks to the bottom edge, a hint of creasing/rubbing to the corners, rusted staples, 3 bits of minor loss to the spine. No scribbling or colouring-in. The contents are VG. The staples although rusty are still holding the book together well. Rare. NOTE: THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION FROM [1921] NOT A MODERN FACSIMILE.
