Book lists to 1914 title and jacket to 1915 title of this series. This book looks remarkably good. It has a slight lean, lightly bumped head and heel of the spine with very minor fabric damage (see photo); corners and lower edge show very little wear; the bottom 1/4" seems a bit discolored (see photo--I am not sure it will show up, though). Front panel and spine illustrations are intact, but for that mild stain that was just mentioned. Interior is almost like new: a penciled name is on the FFEP, but that is the only writing or marking in the book; hinges are strong, lightly toned pages are supple. The fragile jacket is definitely no better than a VG-, with chips at three corners and at the head of the spine, and a 1" square at the heel of the spine (see photo); there is also a closed 1" tear at the top of the rear panel that originates at the corner.
