In a personalised binding, with Mrs Bickford in gilt on the spine, an armorial bookplate for W. Bickford to the front pastedown, and an ink inscription to the half title, 'Presented to Mrs Bickford by her affectionate son "John", London, Jan. 14th 1836'. In a half calf binding. Externally, rubbed, with some edge wear. The joints are starting. The front joint and spine look to have been repaired, with a section of the spine having been previously detached. Internally, firmly bound, with scattered spotting. With two ink stamps from the Torquay Natural History Society to the front pastedown. Good. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers LTH16-C-1
