Staple bound. All pages are clean, tight and bright. No library markings. Worldcat shows only two copies; one in the New York Public Library and the other in the Brown University Library. Only one edition published. The author is well known for "She Wanted to Read: The Story of Mary McLeod Bethune" a slave who became a teacher.
