12-page cream paper booklet with black lettering; 14 individual duotone plates on stiff card. All housed in a board clamshell case with white title block/black lettering. From the series, Musée et bibliotheques de France, collection de reproductons de dessins, n°1. Featuring reproductions of the collections of drawings in public holdings, under the direction of Gabriel Rouches, Curator of Drawings at the Louvre. This is the first in the series, containing drawings from the Musee de Dijon, all by artists from Burgundy. The booklet contains an essay and the annotations for each of the 14 plates, by Pierre, Quarre, Curator at the Musee de Dijon. All text in French. A lovely selection of plates and excellent presentation. Booklet VG+; plates NF; clamshell box good and solid but with paper covers peeling and lower corners lightly bumped.
